The Orion’s Belt Browser Game is a great replacement for a Civilization Online game. The major difference is that you play on a Sci-Fi game instead of the classic evolution game. However, the basic game play still applies. You have to manage and evolve your empire, battle against enemies, make alliances and earn the respect of your enemies.

Grow your Civilization Online

You can play free civilization online without the need to download anything! You just need a browser and you’re ready to command your civilization from any computer. You start on your Home Planet and you’re on a private zone. On this zone you have 5 planets to conquer and manage. This is the heart of your civilization. no one can attack your private zone so this is a safe zone for your civilization.

You also have a WormHole that will take you to the Hot Zone. On the Hot Zone you’ll play against other civilizations. You’ll be able to create alliances and fight for relics. You’ll be able to battle against enemies on a very interesting combat game.

Combat Differences when you Play Civilization Online

The major difference in game play from Civilization, is that Orion’s Belt has a combat system based on a board game. This is a very interesting way to battle. You’ll not be angry as in Civilization when you took a lot of units and they all die without you knowing why. On Orion’s Belt you play the battles of your civilization step by step.

Diplomacy Play on your Online Civilization

Alliances where a very important part of Civilization, and so are they on Orion’s Belt. You can gather other civilizations under your own and command them as an alliance. Alliances have specific goals: they can fight for supremacy or for relics. A relic is a special artifact that alliances can conquer and protect that provides rare resources to all civilizations. This makes alliance wars very interesting.

Play Online Civilization Now!

As you can see the Orion’s Belt Browser Game is a great option if you liked Civilization, Alpha Centauri or Master of Orion. And it’s a free MMO game, so you’ll interact with several other human players. Try it now!
