The First Tournament’s Grand Final!

The first Orion’s Belt 2.0 Tournament has reached its final stage. It was a long hard fought tournament and I’m very pleased to say that there aren’t administrators on this final. The finalists are Morf and AD420, and they won against Mawhrin-Skel and Pyro on the semifinals.

The final is being very interesting and you can follow it here. Note that both Morf and AD420 had to make some excellent matched against Pyro and Mawhrin-Skel to reach the finals. They fully deserve it!

I’m very curious to know who’s going to be the first Orion’s Belt TA tournament’s champion… what do you think? AD420 is leading, but that really doesn’t mean anything as we know.

I’d wish good luck to them, but luck is for beginners…

2. close one to the end I think, destroyers might be the game winners if they get to strike xD who knows. GL to both.

3. After some turns it seems it’s very close like I said, will the pretorians last enough time to destroy morf’s lights or will morf destroy them and then move for the spider kill =)

4. I’m betting that the pretorian’s won’t last, Morf still has a lot of lights… and let’s not forget that he also has its own pretorians. We’ll see… they both can still see. I’m wondering if they’re feeling the pressure and if one of them will make a mistake…

   On a side note, AD was on a similar situation against Pyro on the previous game, so he has that extra experience.

5. Not really pressure, I just play for fun…
   But I did a huge mistake… fired with the eagles before placing the light ships in front, that costed me 9 eagles…
   So it’s taking more time to kill the pretorians… Nevertheless the option of trading my spiders for AD420 eagles was conscious… I thought that with the advantage of light ships it would be better to use the catapult attacks to win, time will tell.

6. ya I also make that mistake from time to time :/ cause the strike back works before you place the ships in front… The stickiness could be troublesome

7. Ya stickness sucks, especially since it makes the pretorians CS useless… But that 9 eagles loss are making my life a lot harder, one strike of my eagles isn’t enough to kill more than 10 spiderz… so at this point the advantage is with AD420!

8. Ya I’d say he has won, there’s no way to save the eagles and the pretorians will get sticked to death!
   Congrats to both and finish it so we can watch the replay
